The Union County Humane Society is a private, 501 (c) 3, nonprofit organization that survives on donations from individuals, corporations, and foundations. All contributions are tax deductible, so please save your receipts if you purchase any of the following on our behalf. Those marked in purple are high priority items! Toys

We are currently in need of chew toys for large dogs, indestructible toys, and squeaky toys. Don't forget the kitties! Feather toys, ping pong balls, and rattle-toys are much desired!

Equipment

Collars, leashes, and harnesses of all sizes. Folding crates in good condition, pet carriers of all sizes, newspaper, and kitty litter (clay and scoopable).

Cleaning Supplies

An area of greatest need! Paper towels, bleach, and HE laundry soap (we have a front-load washer). Sponges and scrubbers are also needed.

Bedding and Comfort

Towels, blankets, sheets, and pillow cases are all used on a daily basis and bring great comfort to our animals. Got stains? The animals don't care!

Office Supplies

A big expense for the UCHS! Copy paper, heat-type laminating sheets in all sizes, postage stamps, dry erase markers, post-it notes.

Food and Treats

Our area of greatest need is in kitten and puppy food. Our local Wal*Mart offers much needed support in the form of adult dog and cat food. We do also accept donations of small animal feed (rabbit, guinea pig, etc.) Treats are needed as well (hot dogs, string cheese, and small kibble make great treats).
