Sarge is a gentle giant. Sarge came to us as a stray, so we do not know his history. His microchip led us to knowing that he was re-homed at a young age and that owner had just passed away. Sarge was again re-homed but no one came forward to reclaim him. Sarge seems to like all humans that he meets and even though he is an older guy, he still has his playful moments. We have not tested him with cats yet. He does not seem to be reactive to the other dogs he sees here at the shelter. If you have other dogs, we do like to do a meet and greet. If you are interested in visiting Sarge, please fill out an online application, if approved, we will contact you to schedule an appointment.
